Albemarle set to take over solid waste collection in 2026 - The Stanly News & Press

ALBEMARLE — Next year, Albemarle’s Public Works Department will begin handling the city’s bulk solid waste and recycling collection as it transitions from a contracted service with Waste Management Inc. to an in-house operation.
