Air quality advisory in effect due to fire in the East Bay

An air quality advisory is in effect in the East Bay because of a small brush fire near the Antioch Marina. The fire started around 12:30 p.m. At last check, it’s burned less than an acre. There are no reports of any damaged structures or boats, but the wind is expected to push the smoke to areas including Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Discovery Bay and Byron. The air quality advisory runs through Monday.
