The agricultural input price index (Agriculture-IPI) increased by 27.62 percent year-on-year and 0.2 percent month-on-month in July. According to Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data, the highest monthly increase in agricultural inputs was in energy and lubricants with 4.82 percent, while the highest annual increase was in fertilizers and soil conditioners with 33.07 percent.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released data on agricultural input and foreign producer prices. Agricultural input prices rose year-on-year in July, while foreign producer prices saw a year-on-year increase in August. Fertilizers and soil conditioners stood out as the most significant increases in agricultural inputs, while the energy group showed the highest increase in foreign producer prices.
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the agricultural input price index increased by 0.20 percent in July compared to the previous month, and by 27.62 percent on an annual basis.
ATB and ATAK President Ali Çandır evaluated TUIK's July 2026 agriculture-GFE data. Çandır said the monthly increase was the lowest in 10 years at 0.2 percent, while the annual agri-GFE was 27.62 percent.
