The African Union, meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, took action to lift the statutory sanctions imposed on the Republic of Guinea, which, taken at a session of the Peace and Security Council (PSC), ended several months of suspension and enabled Conakry to regain its full place in the institutions of the continental organization.
