Aeromexico achieved a 90.02% on-time rate in 2025, making it the only airline to win consecutive global titles since Cirium's program began in 2009.
- Cirium's 2025 review found Aeromexico, Mexico City-based carrier, maintained 90.02% on-time performance across 188,859 flights in 23 countries, securing its second consecutive global win.
- Using a 17th-year methodology, Cirium, part of RELX, drew on data from over 600 sources tracking more than 198,303 flights, with oversight from an independent advisory board of aviation veterans.
- The margin between first and third was 3.93 percentage points, with Saudia and SAS posting 86.53% and 86.09%, while Copa Airlines logged 90.75% but wasn’t eligible for the overall title.
- Cirium also awarded Istanbul Airport the Airport Platinum in 2025, recognizing operational excellence and growth trajectory.
- Cirium's analytics, used by airlines and airports, underpin benchmarks and decision tools in the 2025 OTP Review, which Cirium said reflects aviation's operational discipline.
