The government of Hong Kong has picked a joint venture of Aecom and AtkinsRéalis to build the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong–Shenzhen Western Rail Link. The JV will design and build a 7.3km section on the railway, linking Hong Kong’s Hung Shui Kiu to the Qianhai special economic zone in Shenzhen, with a journey time of 15 minutes when completed.
