For years, right-wing extremists have been organizing a mourning march in Demmin on 8 May. A citizens' initiative wants to prevent it – and this year also invites the left-wing action alliance »Remove«. Can this work well?

In Demmin, the demonstrators of the "Action Alliance 8 May" prevented the planned march of extreme right-wing participants of the former NPD, "New Homeland", through the city centre. The organizers spoke of 4,000 counter demonstrators, the police spoke of 2,000 participants.
