PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, JUL 16 – Pamela Jean Stanley faces felony charges for attempting to murder her ex-husband by sending fentanyl-laced chocolates after a prior failed hitman plot, Parker County officials said.
- Pamela Jean Stanley, 63, was arrested for allegedly plotting to murder her ex-husband by injecting fentanyl into chocolates she intended to mail him as a gift.
- Investigators worked undercover with Stanley, who drove several hours to purchase fentanyl from an undercover officer, where she was arrested.
- Stanley was also found to have 9.5 grams of methamphetamine, and she was indicted on charges including criminal solicitation with intent to commit murder.
