Access to Cais do Ginjal, in the municipality of Almada, is closed at least until May 1

The barrier that blocks access to the Ginjal pier has been completed and all people who live in that area will have to leave. The municipality decided to activate a Population Concentration and Support Zone.

According to preliminary information, the five dozen people who live there, in Almada, will be transferred temporarily to a school, where they will remain for 10 days. The Almada Chamber alleges that the pier is severely degraded, which endangers the people who live there.
