Thousands of people gathered in regional capitals on Sunday afternoon to support Czech Television and Czech Radio. Demonstrators marched through the cities in processions, carrying Czech flags and banners with slogans such as "Don't take away our free media" and "We're not tired of you, Tinsmiths."
Thousands of people gathered in regional cities to express support for public media. The marches were called by the association Milion Chvilek, which warns of a threat to the independence and control of Czech Television and Radio.
