Abbeville woman charged with $11K identity theft

An Abbeville woman was arrested on Feb. 13, for identity theft involving 180 unauthorized bank charges totaling more than $11,000. St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux announced the arrest Friday following a monthslong investigation into fraudulent activity on a local checking account.
