A 29-year-old man was shot and killed this Sunday in the Villa Verde sector of La Romana, police reported. The victim was identified as Gerson Ortiz Yan, who died from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and other parts of his body, according to the autopsy report by medical examiner Benito Kelly, which determined the cause of death to be hemorrhagic shock.
