Woman, 61, becomes N. Macedonia's oldest to give birth
A 61-year-old became the oldest woman to give birth in North Macedonia, health officials in the Balkan country said Tuesday.
In a maternity hospital in Skopje, a 61-year-old woman gave birth to her first child, making her the oldest woman to give birth in Northern Macedonia. She gave birth to a healthy boy named Peter. The mother and the newborn are feeling well and have already left the maternity hospital, said representatives of the Skopje gynecological clinic.
The woman tried unsuccessfully to get pregnant for 37 years.
