A 20-year-old veiled woman filed a complaint, claiming that she was assaulted on Thursday night in Reims by a group of people, one of whom allegedly asked her to remove her veil and hit her.
According to "Franceinfo" and "France 3 Grand-Est", a young veiled woman was allegedly the victim of a physical assault on Thursday 19 June in Reims (Marne) by a group of about 20 people. An investigation was opened but no author has yet been identified.
The victim was reportedly arrested by a group of young people. One of them allegedly asked him to remove his veil, which she refused to do.

A young woman claims to have had her veil ripped off on June 19th. The suspect, 17 years old, contests the version of the victim, which he knew. The anti-Muslim character of the altercation has not been demonstrated, according to the prosecutor of Reims.
