A 36-year-old Turkish citizen was arrested after being caught red-handed in Ilfov County, carrying two pistols and two silencers for the two weapons. DIICOT prosecutors, who arrested the man, suspect that he is a member of a criminal group, which he joined after being recruited by a Turk, and which deals with arms smuggling.

A 36-year-old man, a Turkish citizen, was pre-arrested after being caught red-handed, in Ilfov County, having on him two pistols and two silencers for the two weapons.

Law enforcement officials say that of the confiscated weapons, over a thousand were illegally possessed.
