A Traveler Traveled the World in a Skoda Rapid. He Was Twice Delayed for Years by Having His Car Impounded
The 1989 Škoda Rapid 136 has circumnavigated the world. It was driven by Ivan Monev from Panenské Břežany. He returned only last Sunday and on Thursday in Pelhřimov he received the award of Czech record holder. He has driven over 122 thousand kilometers on six continents. The journeys in Mongolia were demanding, the tire change at an altitude of five thousand meters was exhausting, the car was shockingly confiscated in Peru and Mexico.
