A Leader of an Acting Group Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Defrauding 62 Million Euros in Urssaf
This leader, as well as his financial director and the Forum Interim group, were sentenced by the Draguignan (Var) court for having limited, on the payroll of foreign employees, the share of remuneration subject to social security contributions.
This is an impressive case in terms of the amount and extent of the frauds. The leader and the financial director of the group were sentenced respectively to 4 and 2 years in prison.
Employees in a group received excessive compensation, e.g. for large trips, while they were housed and transported by the company, thus limiting the share of remuneration subject to social security contributions.
The acting group limited the social contributions due to Urssaf by increasing the benefits of temporary employees of the building.
