A family in Parecago was watching fireworks from their balcony on New Year's Eve when the 55-year-old woman was suddenly hit by something and started bleeding. The hospital determined that a foreign object had flown onto the balcony. The woman is seriously injured, but not in mortal danger. Criminal investigators will determine what kind of foreign object or whether the woman was hit by a bullet.
"At 0.05 a man called us and said that a woman on a balcony in Parecag had been hit by something and was bleeding in the chest," the Koper Police Department reported. Rescuers took her to the Izola Police Department.
