A solar cell of inverted perovskita based on ionic salt achieves efficiency of 26%

An international team led by the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has used ionic salt for the electron transport layer of a perovskit solar cell in order to improve the stability and performance of the device.
