A scooter rider narrowly escaped being hit by a train in Siófok. It was caught on surveillance cameras and the police fined him 50,000 forints.
"The conductor of the train saw the scooter pilot crossing the crossing, which was closed, in chicane. He watched the train arrive, said he had time to pass and he accelerated," he said.

The man was struck by an TER at a level crossing south of the city, according to the firefighters, who were mobilized "for an intervention involving a scooter and a TER", early in the afternoon. The 39 people on board the train were instructed to leave the train.
