Alegría Bernardino was born 81 years ago in Campillo de Llerena (Badajoz), dedicated much of his life to helping pilgrims with disabilities complete the Camino de Santiago and today he fulfills his dream of going once again to the final stage to the square of the Obradoiro despite the illness by which he has lost mobility almost completely.
Alegría Bernardino, 81 years old with reduced mobility, saw this Thursday fulfilled his dream of completing a stage of the Camino de Santiago, in which for more than two decades he collaborated as a volunteer to facilitate the Jacobian experience of people with disabilities.
The Conselleira de Política Social e Igualidade, Fabiola García, received this Thursday in Praza da Quintana to Alegría Bernardino, a pilgrim with reduced mobility who made a stage of the Camino de Santiago accompanied by relatives, staff of his residence and the entity Ambulance del Deseo.
