If it survives its passage past the Sun, astronomers say it could shine so brightly that people will be able to see it during the day. The object is a fragment of a much larger comet.
After a long time, this spring there will once again be a chance for spectacular comets to appear, even visible to the naked eye, including the recently discovered object C/2026 A1 (MAPS), which may be the brightest in the coming months, IFLScience wrote.
