An anti-tank ditch nearly 40 kilometers long will be dug on the southeastern border over the next two years, as part of the Baltic Defense Zone defense facility planned for Estonia.
By the end of 2027, an anti-tank ditch several dozen kilometers long will be built on the southeastern section of the Estonian-Russian border, forming part of the Baltic Defense Line and strengthening NATO's eastern flank, ERR television reported.
Estonia wants to have not only the aforementioned anti-tank ditch, but also almost 600 bunkers by the end of 2027.
