OCEANSIDE, Long Island (PIX11) — A man lost control of his Mercedes and hit a utility pole, parked car, and two homes on Harvey Avenue in Oceanside on Long Island, police said. Neighbors said the impact was so loud that they thought a plane might’ve crashed. The driver of the car and his passenger were hospitalized, and the people inside the two homes were not injured, police said.
