A single-vehicle accident Saturday claimed the life of a Columbus man. Christopher Tyler Robertson, 43, was traveling north on Highway 45 at about 1:39 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway, crossed the median and drove through a fence before coming to rest on Grant Farm Road, Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant wrote in a text to media members.
