A large batch of weapons, destroyed at a metallurgical plant in the village of Bulboaca

An impressive amount of weapons and ammunition was destroyed today by the police of the Republic of Moldova. The over 2000 weapons, of various sizes, were collected during three months of last year. The special operation took place at a factory in the village of Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district.

Pistols, revolvers, carbines and other firearms, totaling more than 2000 units, were destroyed by melting at a metallurgical plant in Bulboaca village, Anenii Noi district. These are weapons seized from criminals or voluntarily handed over by citizens due to malfunctions. The disposal of weapons cost 38 thousand dollars and was carried out with the financial help of the European Union and UNDP.
