The accident occurred near the underwater observatory. Paramedics and the intensive care team performed prolonged CPR on the drowning man, but were forced to declare him dead.
Bartosz Błyskal, a young firefighter and diver of the Specialist Water and Diving Rescue Group "Gdańsk", died in a tragic accident during the search for Grzegorz Borys, a soldier suspected of murdering his 6-year-old son. The 27-year-old entered the water but did not surface. Now the District Prosecutor's Office in Bydgoszcz has brought charges in this case against the diver's commander.
