Shivakumar unveils several initiatives at Kalyana Karnataka Utsav
Chief minister D K Shivakumar on Thursday announced a package of initiatives spanning investment, government recruitment, healthcare, urban infrastructure and tourism for Kalyana Karnataka, including a new regional economy mission and plans for a 30 acre IT park in Kalaburagi.
In Kalaburagi, CM DK Shivakumar Kalyana Karnataka has announced an annual grant of Rs 5000 crore for the comprehensive development of the region. Emphasis will be placed on industrial growth, establishment of new industries, promotion of tourism and increasing farmers' income. Many projects have been formulated, including 50,000 plots for the poor, land at concessional rates for job creation, sports city and installation of AI CCTV.
