A fan who threw a rubber ball at a player during a World Cup qualifier against England will be banned from attending any sporting event for five years.

A fan who, together with several others, threw a repohara at England player Raheem Sterling during a World Cup qualifier against England in September 2021 was convicted in the first instance of collective disorder.
