On Friday, a report about a possible case of animal cruelty in Kaunas spread on social media. The public organization "Cat's Dream" reported that a car may have run over a cat twice on V. Krėvės Avenue. The organization stated that it intends to inform the police about the incident.
As announced on the Facebook account of the Public Institution "Cat's Dream", children called the institution on Friday morning after noticing a possibly sick cat lying near the house at V. Krėvės Ave. 26. "We didn't even have time to agree on who would go to pick it up when they called again that the same cat had been run over by a car. The children say that it was done on purpose and even twice in front of them," the post reads.
