Budapest has summoned the Ukrainian ambassador over an arson attack on a church in the village of Palaď Komarivci, near the Slovak-Ukrainian border, where the majority of the population is of Hungarian nationality. An anti-Hungarian inscription appeared on the church wall. The inscription read: Hungarians to the knife.
There have been several similar Russian provocations, and there are indications that the perpetrators were not Ukrainian nationalists.
