A Brief Biography of the Late His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV Khanania, Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East (on the Tenth Anniversary of His Passing) by Professor: Yoarch Hedo

Mar Dinkha was born on September 15, 1935 in the village of Darbanduk in Erbil Governorate. His father was Andrew, son of Father Benjamin Soro, and his mother was called Pana Kako. Forty days after his birth, on October 25, he was baptized in the Church of St. Mark the Martyr and was named Khanania.
