A big step in the right direction for a first-time fundraiser in North Bay

Ashley Whitwell was all smiles Sunday afternoon at Lee Park.  Her family was one of several honoured at the first-ever Steps for Hope event.  The Whitwell family was at the event for their son Lincoln.  The six-year-old Lincoln is currently bravely fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Philadelphia positive (Ph+), a rare form.  He was diagnosed last November and has been undergoing treatment at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.  Ashley and Li…
