The Miyako Island Coast Guard announced that the woman who was found unconscious after drowning near Nakanoshima Beach on Shimoji Island in Miyako Island was a 52-year-old South Korean national. The woman was confirmed dead at around 4:40 p.m. on the 14th. (File photo) Beach The woman drowned on the 13th and was found floating at the water's edge. According to the Coast Guard, it is believed that she drowned while snorkeling.
