Boy, 7, wounded by gunshot inside Humboldt Park residence
A 7-year-old boy was wounded Thursday evening inside of a residence in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly after 7 p.m., a 7-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his left bicep while inside a residence in the 3200 block of West Division Street. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. A weapon was recovered on the scene, police said. No one was in custody and detectives are investigating.
Boy, 15, shot, wounded in Humboldt Park
A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Thursday in Humboldt Park. The teen was in the 1100 block of North Ridgeway Avenue about 1:35 p.m. when he was struck in the leg by gunfire, Chicago police said. The teen was taken to Norwegian Hospital in good condition, according to police. No arrests have been made.
