An 89-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Franklin Monday morning, according to police. Callers reported the crash near 354 Pleasant St. via 911 shortly after 8 a.m., Franklin police said in a press release. At the scene, firefighters and police found that a car had struck Franklin resident Ugo Ciannavei, leaving him critically injured.
