An 87-year-old Manhattan man was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Kimball Avenue. According to the Riley County Police Department, Gerald Hughes was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry in the 4200 block of Kimball Avenue when it collided with a 2025 International box truck driven by 24-year-old Marcello Martinez of Independence, Missouri.
