The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In memory of the victims, Göttingen's mayor, Petra Broistedt, will lay a floral arrangement and deliver a welcoming address at the Fukushima memorial stone in front of the New Town Hall on Hiroshimaplatz at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
