80,000 people pork it up in Tipton for three-day festival

The 56th annual Tipton County Pork Festival was another massive success. More than 80,000 people flooded the town of just over 5,000 this past weekend. Made even better by great weather, the three-day festival, Sept. 4 to 6, featured plenty of vendors, three pageants, two parades, a baby contest, a carnival with rides provided by Huesman Amusement Company, entertainment from Sam Quigley, The Mulligans, John King, Jeremy & Kerry, The Time Traveler
