The court in Dordrecht sentenced Selçuk A. to eight years in prison and TBS with compulsory treatment on Wednesday for killing his 28-year-old wife. A. strangled her in the night of 5 to 6 July in their home in Rotterdam-Lombardijen, while their young daughter was in the house. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the woman wanted a divorce and A. could not accept this.
