Survey reveals negative perception of Venezuelans in Chile increased 30 points in six years

According to researchers, prejudices against people with a migrant background as well as sexual minorities take place in this country. However, this is becoming less and less perceived as a problem. A study by Activa Research revealed that prejudice against Venezuelan immigrants in Chile increased by 30 points in six years, from 55.2% in 2019 to 85.2% in 2025, making them the most judged nationality, followed by Colombians (79.4%), Dominicans (76.1%) and Haitians (75.8%).
