7 years after sale, Hilton hotel approved for Sears lot in downtown Charleston
Seven years after KM Hotels purchased the Sears department store at the Charleston Town Center Mall, plans for their Hilton-branded hotel have been approved. The Municipal Planning Commission for Charleston, West Virginia approved the Development of Significant Impact Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2025, for the dual-branded Tru and Home2 Suites by Hilton at 201 Quarrier St.
