At 8:38 p.m., April 1, 2025, Chattanooga police responded to the 2200 block of East 17th Street on reports of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, officers located the 60-year-old male, who had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
