60,000 people without water. The military came to the rescue

Territorial Defense Force soldiers will arrive in the Karczew commune to combat the water supply crisis, Mayor Michał Rudzki announced. In Otwock and Karczew, 60,000 residents are struggling with water supply failures. Special water tankers with drinking water have been provided for them.

Territorial Defense Forces are helping to distribute drinking water in Otwock, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Wednesday. The Government Agency for Strategic Reserves is to provide residents with a total of 45,000 liters of drinking water, as well as disinfectants. Water will flow into Otwock's taps on Saturday at the earliest.
