Delhi Tragedy: Nine Killed After Massive Fire Engulfs Three Floors of a Building in Shahdara

- Shahdara District DCP Rajendra Prasad Meena confirmed the fire engulfed the second, third, and fourth floors. Officials recovered five bodies from the second floor, one from the first, and three from the staircase.
- Two people sustained minor injuries and were admitted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation, though reports attributing the incident to a short circuit remain unconfirmed.
- Search operations continued as authorities worked to finalize victim identification at the site. This incident follows recent residential fires in Delhi, prompting renewed focus on building safety protocols.
