- Refuting social media claims that the OSM evaluation platform was hacked, the Board clarified that allegations confused the testing environment with the live system, stressing that the official infrastructure remains secure.
- Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took responsibility for the discrepancies on Thursday, May 28, 2026, pledging that the Education Ministry would address every student query to ensure no issue remains unresolved.
- A four-member team from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur is conducting a "full check-up" of the CBSE IT ecosystem, with Director V. Kamakoti noting they will submit a confidential report to the Board.
