High Bond Set for Suspect in Fatal Shooting at Put-in-Bay Bar Early Thursday
Police said a suspect was arrested about 3:40 a.m. as investigators from multiple agencies handled the deadly bar shooting.
A 39-year-old man died early Thursday morning after a shooting at Mr. Eds Bar & Grille on Delaware Avenue in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, police confirmed. The incident occurred shortly after midnight.
First responders discovered the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds upon arrival at the scene. Despite immediate life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the location.
The Ottawa County Sheriff took a suspect into custody around 3:40 a.m. following the search. The Ohio State Highway Patrol provided air support to assist authorities in locating the individual.
