Thirty-six Finnish mothers awarded state medals on Mother's Day
Finland honoured 36 mothers on Sunday with the Medal of the White Rose of Finland, First Class with Golden Cross, in recognition of their exemplary contributions to family life and parenting. The medals were presented at the national Mother’s Day celebration held at the Smolna Palace in Helsinki. The event was organised by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

36 mothers awarded gold crosses. On Sunday, President of the Republic Alexander Stubb awarded 36 mothers with gold crosses of the First Class of the White Rose of Finland. The medals were presented at a national Mother's Day celebration held in Smolna, Helsinki. The event was organized by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL) together with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
