Woman Doctor Arrested From Lucknow in Connection to Terror Module Busts in J&K, Haryana, UP

On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested Dr Shaheen Shahid, woman doctor from Lal Bagh, Lucknow, in Faridabad and recovered an AK-47 rifle and live cartridges from her car.
After the November 7 capture of Dr Adil Ahmad Rather, interrogations produced intelligence leading to the Sunday Faridabad recovery and linked Shaheen to Dr Muzammil Shakeel.
A raid in Dhauj village, Faridabad uncovered 360 kg of explosive material including ammonium nitrate, and authorities identified Dr Muzammil Shakil as the occupant and Al Falah University lecturer.
So far, seven individuals have been arrested and authorities have seized over 2,900 kilograms of IED-making material, prompting tightened surveillance across Delhi-NCR as security agencies probe international linkages and funding routes.
Officials say the suspects operated under foreign instructions and used encrypted social media channels, and investigators expect more arrests while tracing links across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.
