3.5-magnitude earthquake strikes Johor, first since August tremors

Experts link the nine tremors since late August to the Mersing Fault Zone, with the strongest measuring 4.1 magnitude, authorities said.

The earthquake occurred at about 9.04am, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department, adding that tremors may have been felt around Batu Pahat.
